The lecture is based on the lecture "Fundamentals of Communications Engineering". In the first part basic concepts of communication technology such as signal types, the Hilbert transformation and modulation modes are explained. Subsequently various receiver and demodulator concepts are discussed. Receiver sizes, reception disturbances and their suppression are presented. Thereafter one-port and two-port oscillator circuits which serve as sources of high-frequency oscillations are discussed.
Lastly it is employed with phase loop control (PLL) circuits of high-frequency technology which are used for frequency stabilization of oscillators in modulator and demodulator circuits.
